As a self-taught artist, photography came fairly late in my personal career. I first practised other disciplines such as ballet, singing, painting, drawing, theatre, cosplay...
A former model myself in the 'Medieval Fantasy' world, I moved to the other side of the lens because I felt the need to tell my own stories in photos and compose my own images. I began by having models from my entourage pose in beautiful medieval or baroque outfits of my own creation, and then I broadened my practice to include other worlds.
Artistic approach
My sources of inspiration are the cinema, literature, painting, history, mythology... always with the common thread of wearing a costume that allows the model to embody a character, to project themselves into another era or an imaginary world.
I don't photograph people in their everyday lives, I'm not interested in the real world; for me, photography is just one way of 'getting out' an image I have in my head. I don't hesitate to use Photoshop to retouch and add fantastic or dreamlike effects.
