The artwork shows the 3XN Cube Berlin in a black and white composition from an extreme low angle. The striking glass façade of the building reflects the sky and clouds, creating an abstract, almost surreal impression. The sharp lines and geometric shapes of the architecture are emphasised by the monochrome depiction and lend the image a clear, graphic structure.
The inspiration for this work was the examination of modern architecture as a mirror of its surroundings. The Cube Berlin, designed by the Danish architecture firm 3XN, is exemplary of a new generation of buildings that not only act functionally, but also in dialogue with the urban space. I was particularly attracted by the way in which light, perspective and structure are refracted and recomposed in the façade.
With this picture, I want to create an atmosphere of concentration and reflection. It is about the relationship between people, space and perception - captured in a moment of architectural clarity.
In interior design, this work acts as a modern, minimalist accent. It fits perfectly into minimalist or urban spaces and brings structure and depth to the overall picture with its graphic effect. It is particularly effective in work or reception areas as a calm but striking eye-catcher.
