About ‘A Beautiful Place To Be’ by Henk Meeuwes

Walking through the forest early in the morning you come across surprising slices. It was a bit misty and very quiet. This gave a little fairy-like atmosphere. Unfortunately, I didn't see any fairies or gnomes, but this gave me the inspiration to give this photo a fairy-tale-like touch. Here you can dream away and let your imagination run wild. It's great to make places like this with the camera and then edit them, it's relaxing for both of us. Apart from photographing, you also have to enjoy the silence and put the camera aside for a moment.

I am Henk Meeuwes, 59 years old and I live in Nieuwegein.
I started taking photos when I was in horticultural college.
The digital photography and Zoom.nl have given me a boost and taught me to discover where my interest and passion lie; The macro photography.
I find that the combination nature and macro is ideal and brings me relaxation in these hectic times.
In recent years I have also been active in landscape photography, mainly in Iceland.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
