The Scottish puffins on Lunga Island are a joy to watch. They come and go and sometimes they bring beaks full of fish. When we were there, they clearly had nests, as the fish were just delivered. Wonderful to see how these animals live on a relatively small eland with harsh conditions and don't care at all about people poking around. This particular bird just came back with some fish in its beak on its way to the nest. The best are burrows in the ground. Probably this puffin is bringing food to its mate or its children.
