I just took this picture of a daffodil in my backyard. It's a close-up of a daffodil, it's not really a macro picture to be honest. It was even winter when I took this picture, normally they bloom in spring. It's another announcement of spring. What is striking in this picture is the yellow color of the flower despite the green of the rest of the plant. To be able to photograph this spring bloomer I used 2 reportage flashes. The flower bulb of this daffodil remains in the ground all year round and simply rises above the ground again in spring.
