I took this picture in the Leuvenum forest in the municipality of Ermelo in the Veluwe. These honey mushrooms were at the foot of a beech tree, in fact there were more honey mushrooms against this beech tree. This mushroom species was common in places in the Leuvenum forest, it is a mushroom that does well. You can also see that moss is growing on the trunk, the beech it is on was already dead when I took this picture. The leaves you see are from other beech trees in the same forest. I used an 85mm macro lens for this photo, and I hung my camera under my tripod to get a better view.
