I took this photo in the Leuvenum forest between Harderwijk and Nunspeet. These porcelain mushrooms were on a dead and fallen tree trunk of a deciduous tree. To take this macro photo, I supported my camera against the tree trunk and also used a reflection screen. I had to search for a nice composition for this photo. From the angle that I took this photo, I unfortunately couldn't use a tripod. The depth-of-field effect makes the mushrooms stand out nicely from the background, you can see that a bokeh has been created in the background. As you can see, 1 of the porcelain mushrooms is decaying, fortunately the rest was still beautiful. Although it was sunny, I was in the shade of the tree canopy. I put an 85mm macro lens on my camera for this macro shot so I could focus closer.
