Friesland is known for its beautiful lakes and vast landscape. One of the smaller lakes in Friesland is "It Nannewiid" near Oudehaske.
Oudehaske is a small village in the southwest of Friesland. Just outside the village lies this small lake with a jetty here and there.
I was there on a beautiful winter morning in January. The jetty was nicely frosted with ice. The sun had risen for a while and shone softly over the flat water. Above the water were still some gusts of fog.
It was a beautiful sight. Fortunately I had my camera with me. After I had taken a number of photos I switched to taking double photos. That is, taking two photos through each other. They also call this "double exposure".
This photo is one of the photos I made that way. If you take two photos through each other you have to look carefully whether it becomes one whole.
In this picture it worked well and gives the picture extra dynamics through this technique.
It is almost a bit fairy-like.
I myself am very enthusiastic about the result.
As a photographer I like to capture images that people can enjoy. This can be nature photos but also abstract photos.
