'A quiet day in the dunes' is a landscape in watercolour of a dune landscape on Texel overlooking the sea and horizon in an impressionist painting style. The person behind WatercolorWall is Ricardo Bouman, a graphic designer, photographer and painter with a passion for travelling, beautiful landscapes, cities, architecture, photography and painting with watercolour, among other things.
His motto is: 'To create atmosphere, you must first have tasted it'. His subjects often have a connection with nature, an emotion or a (city) location he has visited himself.
Ricardo has been painting for over 25 years, translating his own experiences and travel moments into colourful paintings. His webshop offers different subjects such as: Illustrative Realism, Line Drawings, Impressionism, Line & Wash Watercolours and Modern Abstract painting.
As a traditional painter, Ricardo does NOT use 'Ai' (artificial intelligence). All his illustrations and paintings are handmade and created from his own experiences and ideas, combined with his expertise in illustration and painting.
