About ‘A small boat rescues seamen of 31800 tons USS West Virginia at Pearl Harbor, Dec 7, 1941.’ by Atelier Liesjes

During the attack by Japan the ships USS West Virginia and Tennessee are on fire in the harbour with a lot of smoke. The air raid and bombardment disabled a large part of the U.S. Navy and its warships in which a number of naval ships sank. There were many deaths during the offensive on the warships.
