About the artwork

The abandoned water tower rises majestically, a solitary monument that has stood the test of time. Its stately silhouette stands out against the horizon, but its glory is long gone. The once gleaming metal now shows signs of rusting, and the concrete foundation shows cracks and crumbling spots.

The door that once provided access to the inside hangs askew on its hinges, an invitation to oblivion. Inside, darkness reigns, interrupted only by narrow windows through which light seeps sparingly. Dust particles dance in the sun's rays, and the echo of distant sounds seems locked in the walls.

The water tank itself stands empty and abandoned, once a source of life for the community, but now silent and parched. This abandoned water tower is a monument of forgotten service, a silent witness to an era gone by. Its presence reminds us that even the most imposing structures are eventually overtaken by time and abandoned in the quiet solitude of oblivion.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
