When night has fallen and all the lights are shining, the town hall shows itself from a particularly charming side! Only in the late evening does the market square empty out, so that it appears largely deserted. This extreme perspective is also photographically demanding: an ultra-wide-angle lens is required to capture the whole scene. The little light that was still available made for an exposure time of more than 30 seconds, which also required the use of a stable tripod. This clearly distinguishes night photography from quick snapshots! The aim was to create an image that is independent and away from the mainstream.
Photography is painting with light. According to this motto, my pictures are created, whether as a long exposure or simply in the first or last light of the day.
