Most people know the Scottish island of Iona for its beautiful abbey and fascinating pebble beach. Both are well worth a visit. But if you want to see another special place, buy a good map and hike off the beaten track to this stunning abandoned marble quarry. There is no obvious path to it, so you'll have to find your way through the swampy Scottish wilderness. But when you get there, it's well worth it. The quarry sits on a bay with a blue sea and large blocks of marble everywhere. The old steam engine and some parts are still lying in the grass. And you will most likely have the place to yourself.
Welcome to my shop! Nice of you to take a look.
I call myself a sculpture hunter. There can be a beautiful statue hidden everywhere. Also just in a bus shelter, under your shoes or in your own living room. I capture these images in photos, or use them..
