This work is entitled "Sunlit Relics: Pastel Whispers"
In this abandoned room of the castle, sunlight paints a nostalgic scene in soft pastel colours, with nuances of orange and apricot on forgotten walls. The old armchair, draped with a pretty fabric, seems a silent witness to bygone days when the room was still filled with warmth and vistas on a sunny day.
The use of silk cloths and drapes in my work is on the one hand purely decorative. On the other hand, to stimulate the viewer's imagination. By hiding parts of my compositions, space is created for interpretation and introspection.
Abandoned places often evoke a sense of mystery and nostalgia. They tell a story about the past and arouse curiosity about what happened and why a place was abandoned. In a modern interior, a photo of an abandoned place can serve as a captivating piece of art. It can provide an interesting contrast to modern furniture and interior design, creating a unique and quirky atmosphere. Instantly gives an artistic atmosphere to the room. A beautiful eye-catcher and an engaging topic of conversation.
Suitable for Modern Living space, office, hospitality, home library or study.
