An abstract work based on photos of a stairwell in the style of the Amsterdam School or De Stijl.
The predominant color is light green/beige.

I get inspiration from those same characteristics in nature, architecture and everyday objects.
It can be alienating, what am I looking at? An invitation to investigate further.
People often say "you can keep looking at it, it's always different. Depending on the viewing angle and distance and whether you look at the whole or a detail, it continues to 'live'.
To create these works I use my own photographs which I combine and edit with software on the computer.
I can usually tell quite quickly whether a photo is suitable for doing something with it. As if the photo itself is asking for it. Yet many works end up in the trash because the result has to radiate 'something' that I feel and am 100% satisfied with.
The process of achieving a beautiful result is wonderful to do. I hope that you - by looking at this work in a large format - will find just as much pleasure, inspiration and peace.
You can use the work both horizontally (landscape) and vertically (portrait).
