About ‘Abstract forest’ by Gonda Versteeg
The jagged trees with the bright green moss on the trunks caught my attention. I envisioned a fairy tale and added a layer of fallen blossom. By combining the two, I was able to set the mood I felt when taking the picture. Beautiful cool tones and a bit of mystery.

Hi, nice of you to check out my works! I am a passionate nature photographer. In nature, I find peace and wonder. I love the first morning light and/or backlight. It creates an atmosphere that makes me happy. Seeing the sun come up and seeing and hearing nature wake up, I find that magical. When I get into a flow and am genuinely amazed, feeling in touch with the subject, that's when I make the most beautiful photos.
Subjects include butterflies, dragonflies,…
