Abstract in blue – abstract art featuring a petrol-blue circle and lines by Hilde Remerie – Digital Art, Bauhaus & Photography

‘Abstract in Blue’ is a modern abstract artwork in which a large, dark petrol-blue circle forms the central element. Various vertical bands run through and behind the circle, creating a calm yet powerful interplay of lines.

The work is composed of various shades of blue, petrol and turquoise, complemented by soft grey-green and greyed-out nuances. The subtle textures in both the background and the circle lend the surface depth and an almost tactile quality.

The circular shape and the vertical lines combine to create a beautiful contrast between softness and sharpness. The circle draws the eye to the centre of the image, whilst the vertical bands create an optical sense of movement in the artwork and a feeling of rhythm and balance.

Thanks to the muted blue tones and simple composition, the work has a serene, contemporary feel. It fits beautifully into a modern, minimalist, Scandinavian or Japandi interior and combines well with wood, beige, grey, natural materials and other cool shades of blue.

A stylish wall decoration for the living room, bedroom, study or hallway, for those who love abstract art, shades of blue, circles, vertical lines and subtle texture.
