"Abstract panorama: Drops on a morning star (Tragopogon) " is a macro photo of water droplets on seed pods photographed from below. This (edited) photo has mainly grey and brown tones (such as beige and taupe) and champagne colour. When taking this photo, a small depth of field was chosen. As a result, the depth of field is small, (only a few millimetres from the centre fluff) this creates a dreamy atmosphere also a sense of depth in the work. You look between the heart of the fluff ball and the fluff in front, to the fluff behind. This, then, is where the focus lies. (It has become a kind of vista). The droplets also help to create this dreamy atmosphere, they reflect the light and this creates sparkles on the droplets. The texture of these seed fluff balls is very fine and forms a beautiful structure to which the water droplets cling. It reminds me a bit of a spider's web.
