For me, this woman's gaze reflects much of what I myself can experience after an intense kickboxing/yoga workout. Is it dreamy, satisfied, tired or do you actually see renewed strength? The look in the eyes leaves room for your own interpretation. This work of art has been hanging in my studio for several years, but the image absolutely does not bore you. In fact, it is one of the few works of art whose original I do not want to sell. The portrait is painted with acrylic paint on large format black cardboard. I painted the portrait with brushes, then blurred it with a paint roller. The image is composed of several layers. In the interior, this painting provides an anchor point. It exudes a certain tranquillity. The portrait lights up from the darkness. It fits well in a black and white interior.
The painting has a tough character, but also exudes something soft.
