During my tour of Sicily, I was also in a hotel near Catania.
Looking at the map, I saw that I was near a spur of the Alcantara River.
So I went there with my camera to see if I could find something beautiful to take a picture of.
The river turned out to be flowing pretty hard in some places, and it was at one of those places that I took this photo.
Nearby, there is also the possibility, for a fee, to walk above the gorge through which the river flows, but I prefer to go into free nature where I can just walk in the river and take photos.
