Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Solstice in the Heilooërbos’ by Ton Wever

On 21 June, the sun sets precisely in the main avenue of the Nijenburg estate. That sight avenue was deliberately laid out in 1705 to serve as a kind of observatory or calendar. A park layout as clearly related to cosmology as the one in Nijenburg estate is found nowhere else in the Netherlands and Europe.
The solstice marks the moment when the days start getting shorter again.
I took this photo at the Nijenburg estate just before the sun went down.
It was nice to see people sitting on the benches enjoying the sunset there, and I wanted to capture that image with this photo.

Thank you for taking the trouble to look at my photos.
My name is Ton Wever, born in 1960 and living in Alkmaar.
Photography has always been my interest, first with rolls, but since 2009 digitally, currently with a Nikon D7500, and occasionally with my mobile phone.
As you can see from these photos, I have a broad interest in photography, my preference is nature, in the broadest sense of the word.
