The Chaenomeles speciosa 'Simonii' apples are now back on the bushes.
These apples are not for eating but I think they look very tasty.
They have fresh colours to bite into but I don't want to :-).
The shrub often stands as a barrier between a street and the narrow paths in the neighbourhood where I live in Weert. In spring, the shrub has beautifully colourful flowers that resemble a rose hip flower.
