About "Anchor off the bow of a cargo ship and rust marks."

About the artwork

Ballast water washes over the anchor in the harbor.
The bow of the ship bears its marks. The rust and dirt traces clearly visible in the sunlight. The ship moored at the quay, the work continues, loading or unloading continues. The port has no rest, nor does the ship.
The crew does maintenance while in the harbor.

The ships provide a beautiful and raw backdrop for my photography. The harbor is a large raw canvas with different colors bright rough and lots of contrast. The rust marks the people working there or on board are a lot of inspiration.

Walking along the harbor quay or driving through the harbor I look at all the ships. And that often results in beautiful pictures. The hulls of sea-going vessels or the inland vessels tankers container ships or bulk carriers provide a diverse picture in the port. Port photography is very diverse. From harbor landscapes to the details of the ships.

Raw and the port as it is the people who work there. The images I see there I like to photograph because it is art in itself. The harbor is a different world. The landscape of the harbor is always changing. The ships, the people and the landscape continue to fascinate me.

Ship's Eyes_Port Photography raw and honest as the port itself.
