About the artwork

In the timeless atmosphere of Angkor Wat, the statues carved in stone seem to defy time. Set in stone for centuries, they tell stories of divinities, kings and ancestral beliefs. In black and white, these sculptures take on an even more mystical dimension, highlighting the play of light and shadow on their finely chiselled features.
Each face, each sculpted relief bears witness to the exceptional skill of Khmer craftsmen. The serene expressions of the statues give an impression of wisdom and eternity. Some faces are marked by the erosion of time, adding a touch of fragility to their imposing beauty.
The absence of colour intensifies the emotion of the place: the contrast between the dark stone and the daylight creates an almost unreal atmosphere. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
