Cetona in Tuscany is a beautiful old medieval hill town. It has a large central piazza bordered by buildings and architectural features and every year they hold a three day flower market in April. Here you can see the old buildings, including the turret which is part of the town wall. Umbrellas point to a bar/restaurant with an outside seating area. The square is closed to traffic and lined with stalls selling all manner of garden plants. The early visitor catches the bargains and gets to wander in peace before the market gets really busy and the tourists arrive.
