About ‘Arches National Park in Utah’ by Thomas Zacharias
Arches National Park was designated a National Monument in 1929 and declared a United States National Park in 1971.
It is located in the north of the Colorado Plateau on the Colorado River north of the city of Moab in the US state of Utah. There are over 2000 arches in the park.
