Abstract painting - Art No. 148.38 - a pure painting - a modern painting based on abstract expressionism.

The Abstract Expressionism movement has influenced many artists over time. It has allowed people to look at art in a different way and that art does not always have to be something we immediately understand. It is a way to express yourself and show your feelings through colours, shapes and patterns.

The movement encompassed different styles and approaches, but two main directions emerged: action painting and colour field painting. Action painting, associated with artists such as Jackson Pollock and Willem de Kooning, emphasised the physical act of painting itself. Artists often worked on large canvases and used energetic brushstrokes, dripping paint and splatters to create dynamic and gestural compositions.

On the other hand, colour field painting, represented by artists such as Mark Rothko and Barnett Newman, emphasised large areas of colour and simplified forms. These artists used broad areas of colour to evoke emotional responses and create a contemplative experience for the viewer.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
