This artwork looks like a photograph but is in reality a digital adaptation of an illustration produced by me, done in such a way that it now looks like a photograph of crumpled and uncoated piece of silk, layered and three-dimensional effect.
The design of the pattern is by the famous British designer William Morris (1834 - 1896). The print is known as the 'Acanthus' pattern.
The colour scheme of the image, with shades of green, beige and off-white, adds a classic and sophisticated feel to any room and the unironed effect also adds a surprising, playful and unique twist.
The stylists at Art Heroes call my art style ‘Art with a Wink’. And I couldn't agree more. Life is serious enough as it is, don't you think? ;-)
