About ‘Attention to nature’ by Peter Smeekens

By corona, by social media, by economic priorities, attention to nature seems to be waning. How often do parents take their children to the movies, pop concerts, etc. and how often do they take their children to enjoy nature. One cannot start early enough to teach children respect and wonder in and about nature .
This is what I am trying to express in the photograph , parents looking with their baby at the light , the future and enjoying birds flying by . Not that these will disappear , but that they will continue to amaze us in the future .
Using icm, I hope to ensure that the photo raises questions and triggers greater awareness
