Dating back more than a thousand years, the village of Gourdon is one of the gems of the south of France. Gourdon's history goes way back. Built on a hill 300m high, Gourdon is located in on the border of the Dordogne and the Lot in southern France. Famous spots such as Rocamadour, Château de Castelnaud and Sarlat-la-Canéda are a stone's throw away. In Gourdon, life is quiet and convivial. Or say dreamy. I photographed in the oldest part of town with narrow streets and beautiful half-timbered houses.
