This impressive photo shows the Hoëgne torrent in the Ardennes. On this day, the stream was carrying a lot of water, which meandered powerfully through a streambed lined with large, mossy boulders.
Typical of autumn, the rocks are covered in colourful autumn leaves, creating a colourful contrast. In the background, the trees glow in bright yellow tones, which also underline the warm autumn atmosphere.
Thanks to the long exposure, the water appears both powerful and flowing, but also as if painted with brushstrokes.
