Once a year in autumn, I visit the famous Dutch Speulderbos, the forest with the dancing trees.
I have already experienced various weather conditions: sunshine with bright blue sky, heavy rain alternating with bright sunshine, but also very cloudy days. But this forest is always beautiful and varied and also very photogenic.
This year, we travelled again to the Veluwe to photograph this forest in autumn atmosphere. On the way, we were already treated to some mist. Would we be lucky?
And yes! There was a little mist hanging between the trees. Enough to take some atmospheric photos. Because fog always gives a soft atmosphere to your photo.
This photo shows a famous photo model from this forest, still just with some leaves on the branches. Combined with the fog and the dark tree trunks, this gave a nice effect.
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
