Autumnal leaf with filigree braided veins by Alexander Baumann

This artwork shows a fascinating macro photograph of an autumn leaf, whose structure and play of colours captures the poetic beauty of transience. The surface of the leaf is criss-crossed by a complex network of finely branched veins that resemble natural architecture - organic, rhythmic and full of character. The colour spectrum ranges from strong yellow to delicate green tones and warm brown nuances, which are distributed across the leaf in gentle transitions.

The subtle details that only reveal themselves on closer inspection are remarkable: tiny cracks, punctual discolouration and fine layers of texture create depth and tell of maturity and change. The play of light on the surface of the sheet emphasises the transparency and vibrancy of the structure, making the work feel like a quiet, meditative portrait of nature.

This photograph was created out of a fascination for the hidden aesthetics of the everyday. A simple moment in autumn was captured and artistically transformed - as a tribute to the small that expresses greatness.

Ideal for art lovers with a sense of botanical precision and emotional calm. This picture is both analytical and poetic - perfect for rooms that combine naturalness and introspection.
