Photo from St David's Island which forms the north side of Bermuda. This overseas territory with the UK's own sovereignty in the Atlantic Ocean has quite a few beaches. But above all, the large reef surrounding the island creates a unique character. Waves hardly reach the island and the varying depths and different types of seabed give the waters around the islands a colour all their own.
