About ‘BMW 3.0 CSL e9. Oldtimer / classic’ by Maarten van Hemel

Last week, I had one of those days that you actually secretly dream about. Of course, there are many special cars around that you have always wanted to drive. But to be honest, the BMW CSL 3.0 is a bit different from 'the rest'. Sometimes I have music on in the car and sometimes not. It may sound a bit exaggerated, but in some cars you don't need music to pass the time and not fall into some kind of haze. Because then, when you give a jet of gas and hear the brutal sound, the CD player is the last thing on your mind. And as you might guess, I didn't hear a single song from the start of the BMW CSL. Arrival I waited anxiously for the owner. And when he arrived there with the keys in his hand, the adventure began for me. Jan (owner): "Well, go ahead! Be alert that the torque only increases from bottom to top, instinctively but also really while driving! It is a bit poisonous, but please pull it, it has a sharper camshaft and it snarls so nicely after 5,000 rpm." After the brief instructions, I was still impressed by the beautiful shapes and overwhelming sound of the 3L straight six as it should be in a BMW. The CSL 3.0 The 3.0 CSL got a very small increase in displacement to 3,003cc by increasing the engine bore by a quarter of a millimetre. This was done in August 1972 to allow the CSL to race in the "over three litre" racecate

Op dat moment bedacht ik Parked in Holland, al het openbare kunstwerk vastgelegd op Instagram, met veel plezier rij vandaag de dag stad en land…

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
