About ‘Beach bed Scheveningen’ by Esmeralda Skverer-Rouwenhorst

During a lovely summer evening, during the golden hour, on the beach of Scheveningen - Kijkduin - The Hague. What a beautiful evening, what a blissful moment. Enjoying the view, the silence at that moment on the beach. Finally that beach bed is empty and I can look right through it. To the gently billowing curtains and the beautiful red-orange skies, makes this a spectacular picture. You can feel the warmth of the day. Enjoying it with a coctail, looking out over the quiet beach. I could stay here forever. It was a very hot day and very crowded on the beach. Then the day is almost over and everyone retreats to the cottages or leaves en masse for their cars to drive home. A few will linger, reminisce about the day, have a drink, maybe a bite to eat and just reminisce about all the beauty the day has given. I saw the light, the fluttering curtains, the robust wood, the softness of the sand and the little blue in the sky. This forms a perfect picture to a perfect memory.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
