My name is Lida Bruinen, I was born in 1962. After years of drawing mandalas with colored pencil I was ready for more intense materials. In the past I worked with watercolors, but now I mainly choose to paint with acrylics, often in combination with collage. However, some of my work still has the spiritual touch that is characteristic of the mandala. Stimuli from the environment or my own emotions and thoughts are my source of inspiration.
