In pitch darkness, I drove up around several holes in a gravel road with a 10% rise. At dusk I climbed on foot to the highest point at the grießenkareck near Wagrain in Austria. Deep reds and oranges on the horizon. Blues in the hazy valleys. Layers, layers and more layers of mountains emerged. The beauty of photographing in the mountains is that you really get the feeling that you really leave everything behind for a while. Experiencing everything in the here and now. I zoomed in a lot here to emphasize the layers even more. This photo was taken 30 minutes after sunrise and then you no longer get the color contrasts but a nice unity in terms of orange colors on the entire photo for more peace. I have printed this myself and it hangs beautifully in the living room and when I look at it I experience that fantastic morning and experience again and again. It still gives me goosebumps
