This beech avenue in the Spaanderswoud, between Hilversum and Bussum, has its own face in every season and every type of weather. Every time I am there, this beech avenue makes me feel like I am in a cathedral. The branches of these mighty, large beeches form a Gothic vault. A vault that changes with the seasons and with the types of weather. A vault that is not closed but allows nature in and makes you feel part of that nature.
