About ‘Between heaven and the Alps’ by Tijmen Hobbel

At the end of a clear day in late October, one of Slovenia’s most iconic landscapes unfolds here. In the foreground stands the picturesque church of Sveti Tomaž, perched high on a green hill above the rolling fields near Škofja Loka. Behind it rise the imposing peaks of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, where the first snow of the season has already turned the ridges white. The contrast between the warm autumnal hues in the valley and the crisp winter mountain scenery in the background lends this view a particularly atmospheric quality.

It is precisely this layering that gives this photograph its character. The solitary church forms a tranquil focal point, surrounded by woods, farmhouses and undulating hills, whilst the snow-capped Alps provide an impressive backdrop. It is a landscape that exudes tranquillity and shows just how closely the seasons follow one another here.

This photograph was taken during a trip through Slovenia, a country renowned for its varied natural scenery, authentic villages and impressive mountain landscapes. A timeless panorama that remains captivating whether viewed up close or displayed in large format on the wall.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
