About the artwork

Bijou Lathyrus in a pretty vase

This was such'a lovely gift from a dear one, that I never wanted to get rid of it and couldn't get enough of it and how sweet and boho-coloured it fits nicely on a canvas with acrylic.

Lathyrus odoratus Bijou is a low and fragrant ornamental pea in a colourful mix.
Wonderful on terraces, in borders and in the vase, a pick flower.
Lathyrus consists of several species and can also be a lovely climber and a real bee feeder .
The scent beckons you as you walk by

The flower belongs to the papilionaceous family
( Fabaceae ) and this is easy to see, as the flowers resemble lightly fluttering colourful butterflies.
The species is native to Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Lathyrus is easy to sow in April, May and June.
For seed germination, a temperature of 17 degrees is best.

The Lathyrus symbolises: delicacy, gentleness and friendship. So not only to be given as a gift, but also a lovely gift for loved ones.
The enchantingly beautiful Lathyrus makes life a lot more beautiful.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
