On a fishing boat somewhere in the North Sea.
During this trip, I wanted to try something other than getting the birds tight and sharp in the picture, so the shutter speed went down and the aperture went up a bit. After several attempts, I got this result, which I immediately thought should be in black and white. Once home, I converted the image to black and white and did some other edits with this as a result!
I shoot with OMSystem camera the OM-1 with this you can still shoot sharp images out of hand at long shutter speeds. When taking this picture, I also used the digital ND filter which comes standard in the camera.
The mood I created here is a minimalist calm in black and white with a fine-art look. It looks like it has been painted.
If you like fine-art photography, this piece will definitely fit in your living room.
Enjoy my photos's, I do too!
