About the artwork

Amsterdam is revealed here in a timeless atmosphere, where water and architecture converse in silence. The slender façades, leaning slightly towards each other, are reflected in the canal, creating an imperfect but poetic symmetry. In black and white, the city loses its familiar colours and gains in intensity and mystery.

I wanted to capture the graphic essence of this scene: the vertical lines of the windows, the sharp contrasts between light and shadow, and the shifting reflections on the surface of the water. It's a more sober, cinematic Amsterdam, where every architectural detail seems to tell a story.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
