In the heart of Grenoble's summer, the mountains reveal a soothing backdrop: a series of wooden chalets hidden in the dense forest. The dark roofs contrast with the shades of green of the fir trees, while the surrounding meadow catches the sun's rays. This interplay of light and relief reveals a warm, intimate landscape, a symbol of Alpine summers.
For this image, I deliberately adopted a slightly retro colour touch-up, reminiscent of my parents' holiday albums photographed on film. These soft, slightly washed-out tones add a nostalgic atmosphere, as if this scene had stood the test of time. It's an atmosphere I'm particularly fond of, combining authenticity and poetry.
The photograph captures both the freshness of a summer in the mountains and the warmth of childhood memories. It's an invitation to contemplate, to slow down and savour those simple moments when nature and the home coexist in harmony.
