About the artwork

Step inside a dynamic image of coastal surf captured in 50 shades of grey. Why black and white photography? For me, the true essence of my subject sometimes comes to life better: the lines, the perspective, the light.

Focus on textures

It transforms the scene to its most basic forms, where everything that is not essential disappears. Here the focus is entirely on the subject, and in this case, this dynamic tidal landscape on the isle of Terschelling in the Netherlands.

A Topdown Movement of Tides:

Taken from the sky with a drone, this photo captures the coastline in a unique perspective. It shows the ebb and flow as a dance, a continuous movement of nature. Waves do not just become waves, but now form a rhythmic composition.

Water Surface and Details:

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
