On my way to the marshland near Tzum, I was assailed by some Black-tailed Godwit's guarding their territory, presumably broods have already hatched given the ferocity of the birds.
It was difficult to photograph them in flight, they almost flew at me at times and were very fast.
This specimen took a break on the sturdy pole and kept a sharp eye on me.
I sat down on the ground so that this beautiful bird broke free from the green background and is now glittering in all its elegance on the observation tower.
