About the artwork

Blacktip reef sharks (Carcharhinus melanopterus) are one of the most remarkable inhabitants of the waters surrounding Fakarava, one of the most stunning atolls in French Polynesia. These sharks are easily identifiable by their distinctive black-tipped fins and slender bodies. They are commonly found in shallow coral reefs and lagoons, where they feed on small fish, crustaceans, and other marine creatures.

Fakarava is renowned for its pristine nature and crystal-clear waters, making it a popular destination for divers and snorkelers. It is one of the few places in the world where you can observe blacktip sharks in their natural habitat. Generally not aggressive, these sharks are often curious about humans, providing a unique experience for divers.

The presence of these sharks is also a sign of a healthy ecosystem. As predators, they play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of other marine populations. However, like many marine animals, blacktip sharks face threats from pollution, climate change, and overfishing. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
