About the artwork

The photo shows the impressive old town of Bautzen, situated on a rock above the River Spree, in the midst of blossoming spring nature. In the foreground, magnificent magnolia blossoms frame the panorama, while the striking St Michael's Church with its green-roofed tower rises up on the right - a landmark of the town. Below it, the remains of the medieval town wall and historic buildings stretch along the steep slope.

Bautzen is one of the oldest towns in Saxony and was first mentioned in a document in 1002. For centuries, it was the cultural and political centre of Upper Lusatia. The well-preserved old town centre with its towers, alleyways and fortifications still bears witness to the town's medieval wealth and strategic importance.

Particularly striking in the picture are the Reichenturm tower in the background and the massive town fortifications, which once served as protection against attacks. The Spree formed a natural barrier.

The interplay of nature, architecture and history in this picture conveys the special atmosphere of Bautzen - a city in which cultural heritage is combined with scenic beauty. A place that not only preserves history, but brings it to life.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
