In this photo, the breathtaking coastal landscape of Con Dao unfolds. Endless shades of turquoise and deep blue fill the image, as waves gently roll out onto the stony coastline. The rolling hills, covered with fresh green grass and rugged rock formations, lead the eye to the iconic gritty peak rising proudly on the horizon. Airy, tiny clouds drift slowly through a crisp blue sky, creating a play of light and shadow across the water. If you look closely, you will discover subtle traces of a footpath along the cliff and the sun's glare on the surface of the water - hidden details that add depth to the scene.

I found the inspiration for this shot in the pristine nature of Con Dao. Here, freedom and solitude merge into a pure moment of admiring the landscape. It is the feeling of standing at the edge of the world, the wind through your hair, the sound of the sea as background music. The majestic rock on the horizon symbolises intransigence and the island feeling: raw, pure, untouched.

With this work, I want to evoke an atmosphere of serenity, purity and wonder. The endless sea represents new possibilities, while the mainland offers peace and security. The contrast between the clear water and the solid rocks gives the feeling of ultimate balance.

The photo was taken with a wide-angle lens and edited to bring out the intense blue and natural green to best effect. This enhances the contrast between water and land, giving depth and strength to the scene.
