About the artwork
I made this image as evening settled and a passing boat drew a soft thread near resting gondolas. Blue hour gave the sky a cool, steady tone that quieted the frame and let small details speak. The aim was to turn motion into pattern rather than blur into confusion.
I worked on a tripod with a long exposure to keep the moorings steady while the lines of light traced duration. Notice the worn tops of the posts, a dim shore lamp that anchors distance, and the way the water becomes a single surface for a few minutes each night. The geometry stays simple so the mind can breathe.
This is less about spectacle and more about time, the minutes when rhythm replaces rush. It suits clean interiors and hospitality spaces that value clarity, pairing naturally with neutral palettes. For me the picture marks the hinge between day work and night rest.
